PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
HYDRODYNAMICS
The tide, swell and current conditions have been analysed using
reference data and by establishing specific models. The tides are
semi-diurnal with important tidal ranges, reaching 13 m in rare
cases (coefficient 120). The extreme swell and current conditions
have been carefully analysed.
BATHYMETRY
The entire study zone has been explored with a sounder, which has
enabled us to estimate the area's bathymetry with great accuracy.
With depths varying between 4 and 20 m and gentle slopes in most of
the study zone, the bathymetry is favourable to an offshore wind
farm.
